JBL GO bluetooth speaker review

I just want to share my insights about the JBL GO Bluetooth speaker by Harman Kardon. Late last year i was doing some window shopping at a mall when i heard this loud music as i pass by into a tech shop. there's a lot of people gathering in that tech shop, out of my curiousity i checked whats happening and i was shocked to what i saw. The loud music that i'm hearing is from a very small bluetooth speaker it has a dimension of 68.3 x 82.7 x 30.8 (mm) yes!! its that small and it only weighs 130g. And I'm like "what??" so I decided to test it on my own and played a couple of tracks in it. I loved how it sounds, the audio is so clear specially for the vocals. So I purchased one for 1,600 pesos, and i tested it the whole day and comparing it to the other bluetooth speaker that i have. When i compared a couple of bluetooth speakers to the JBL GO one thing that makes it stand out is its ability to deliver high quality audio despite of its size, and it has a very good design. You can put the speaker any place u want it to be because the design is like a mini sound box so there is no problem at all in putting the speaker to any surface, plus you can hang the speaker to your back pack, motorbike etc. if you are traveling because it has a place where you can put a clip for you to hang it. I really loved this speaker because of its quality the only down side of this speaker is that it struggle on secondary bass specially for EDM music genres, but i don't mind it because i understand that JBL has to cut some corners for the features because of its size, besides other than the EDM genres the speaker works very very well. The JBL GO can play up to 5 hours of full volume music (play time varies by volume and audio content) it can go up to 9 hours of play time in a normal volume level charging time of the device is only 1.5 hours it uses bluetooth version 4.1 it supports A2DP V1.2, AVRCP V1.4, HFP V1.6, HSP V1.2 rated power is 3.0W and one thing i like about the speaker is that it has a 3.5mm audio jack for auxiliary audio meaning you can use the speaker even without bluetooth by means of audio cable and the cool thing about it is that it can play simultaneous with another speaker if you connect them both using a 3.5mm audio cable. Aside from that you can use the speaker in making and receiving calls while connected via bluetooth and i was so amazed because the built in microphone of the speaker has noise cancelling meaning you are very clear at the other end of the line. So as an overall review i will give JBL GO a 4 star rating because its a pretty decent speaker it can easily fill up a room by its clear audio and fantastic beat. Really guys if you have one of these speakers you'll be surprised by the sound it produces despite of its size, by the way the speaker has a variety of colors; it has black(which i own), blue, teal, yellow, gray, red, and orange. You wont regret having this speaker as it performs really well.

Going to Sto. Niño church and saw a group of people watching a street magic. I have seen this entertainment many times but it was just a snap look and I suddenly left the place as soon as possible before they will sell me something. 

But way back April 2, 2016, out of curiosity and I have enough time, I watched the show. A magician, I forgot his name, he said he has a house somewhere in Labangon. He performed and well-versed on encouraging people to gather in the area. Using his old school microphone, tweeter and a generator, 3 boxes with 3 live snakes inside, chick, egg and white mouse, he caught the attention of the viewers. But in the end, they are selling the Tawas (Alum). The magician explained well what are the benefits of this Alum, as they said, you will be protected with "Pikpik" or any form of witchcraft that may kill you. This is how it looks like. "Tawas nga Tapol"

The price is P20 pesos each. I bought 1 because I want to experience something supernatural but a man (introduced to me as the owner), also let me try the swertres luck. He gave me this:

I was astounded with what happened. What came to my mind is that I have a great experience because I already know their modus and how they get money to any victim. I was a victim but an opportunity for me to post a credible story since I experienced it personally. I recommend to some, never be deceived with these experienced, organized, syndicated group of scammers on the street. I then smiled and said "Damn, I'm a fool!"

EAR CANDLING EXPERIENCE: HELPED ME? OR SCAMMED ME?

Out of my curiosity, I bought an ear candle. It was sold as P60 each some selling it online for P100, 2pcs in one pack. I saw the pictures in the marketing ads that can remove ear waxes. I'm so excited because at last, my ear will be refreshed. As working in a call center industry, we are engaged with tremendous calls everyday and we need to have a clear audio sound so we can understand the issue of the callers. So I bought 2 pieces so I reserved the other one for future use. I followed the instruction on how to use it. 

First, you need to have a lighter, a paper plate or any disc (make a hole in the middle to insert the candle) for any burning protection, glass of water, and then the candle. I lighted up the the candle and inserted it to my ear, I heard burning sound but I don't feel any pulling up effect inside my ear, I was thinking that it was vaporized and filtered by the candle's sponge filter. Then when the fire reached the end line, soaked the candle to a glass of water to end the fire. 

I opened the candle and I saw the waxes. I was so astounded because there are so much ear waxes taken off from my ear but I don't feel anything happened. I started to wonder how it works and how it goes to the internal part of the candle when it was blocked by a foam filter. How it surpassed the sponge filter? 


I started to make my own experiment by burning the candle. When I discovered that when the candle (a cloth coated with candle) burned, it created a wax. I smelled it, and it was completely just a candle. Therefore, I concluded that I was then scammed. I did a lot of research and I found some articles from these blogs, http://www.quackwatch.com/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/candling.html, and from Audiology Online, http://www.audiologyonline.com/articles/ear-candling-fool-proof-method-1010. 


This product still exist in the market and even in Instagram or Facebook. I am not saying that you have to stop buying this kind of product but I am just sharing my experience. You can try it on your own and so you will experience it too and then you'll judge. In fact, I still have one and I will just keep it for memorabilia.

WORKING IN A CAR SALES - INCOME GENERATING TRICKS

I worked in a popular car brand in which I discovered a lot of tricks to generate income aside from the monthly salary.

It's not that easy to sell a brand new car. You need to have a strong interpersonal skill to connect with prospecting clients and to build a long term relationship. I want to show you the flow of the routine in sales.

If your in the showroom:

You need to prepare the following:

1. Your prospect list (noted from your organizer or record book) 
2. If you have a tablet, ipad or laptop, that would be an easy access
3. A gel pen or sign pen for signatures (How about Parker)
4. Computation sheet
5. Clearbook with set of brochures or flyers for any updated marketing campaign.
6. Brochure of accessories
7. Ofcourse, your Smartphone (All Networks would be better, the Smartest price smartphone, you're "IN")

4 Ways to gather prospects:

1. Walk in
2. Inbound Call (Direct call to the dealership)
3. Sales Call out of the showroom
4. Courtesy call to bank managers

Once you were able to gather list of prospects, that's the time you will make follow up calls. Variation would be 3 days, 7 days or after a month. During the first conversation/visit, your target is to close the deal. But if the client still undecided, you need to maintain a database of the client's information under your name. Every car dealership, they have their own software for database.

Strategy on providing quotation/computation to the clients:

The dealership has their own discounting. The discounting is been formulated by the higher department as part of the Marketing strategy. The Sales Consultant/Sales Executive/Marketing Professional sometimes give the full discount depends on the client's profile. The discounts can be converted to accessories. Then you will get a commission of selling the accessories for the vehicle. Other strategy is to save at least 5-10K for the tipster fee. Some of the dealerships not allowing agents to allocate tipster fee, but some are giving this privilege.

What is a Tipster Fee? 

The tipster fee is a legally approved fee to be given to a specific person who assisted to close the deal with the client. The tipster should have a close communication with the prospect. The tipster should have a bank account and a TIN number. The fee shall be deposited to the Tipster account. Some agents look for a tipster (A dummy) to deposit the account.

How the commission computation goes:

For financing, the agent can get 1% to 5% sales incentive to be given by the company, but there are banks giving more than 5% if direct loan. There are dealership has an in-house financing that giving out 2.5% on the amount financed.

Example:

Unit Price: 1,000,000
Down payment: 20%: 200,000
Amount Financed: 800,000

Commission: 2.5%: PHP 20,000

Then if outside insurance: Range 3,000 to 10,000 depends on how expensive the car.

Plus accessories: Maybe 10,000

Plus Unit Commission: 1,000 to 5,000

And other bonuses.

This is the first time I got my Passport. I attempted many times when I was in Manila and in Cebu but no luck due to time pressure. You need to file a leave for at least 1 to 2 days to complete the process. I went to DFA Tacloban, and I finished the process for only 15 minutes (With power interruption for 3 hours).

For my advice, before you go to the location, you need to prepare first your Documentary Requirements.

DFA Tacloban Fees

For 20 working days = Php 1,200

For 35 working days = Php 950

5. Document of identity with photo, if minor is 8-17 years old (for first time and renewal applicant) such as School ID or Form 137 with readable dry seal

-For minor applicants who never attended school, a Notarized Affidavit of Explanation executed by either parent (if minor is a legitimate child) / by mother (if minor is an illegitimate child) detailing the reasons why the child is not in school, is required

6. Marriage Certificate of minor’s parents duly authenticated by NSO

7. Notarized Affidavit of Support and Consent to travel from either parent (if minor is a legitimate child) / from mother (if minor is an illegitimate child)

8. Original and photocopy of valid passport of the person traveling with the minor

9. Photocopy of valid passport of either parent (if minor is a legitimate child) / of mother (if minor is an illegitimate child) or identification documents (Please refer to List of Acceptable IDs above)

Additional Requirements:

If minor is not traveling with either parent or alone

1. Personal appearance of the mother is required if minor applicant is an illegitimate child.

2. Affidavit of Support and Consent (ASC) executed by either parent indicating the name of the traveling companion and relationship to the minor. If minor will be traveling alone, ASC must be executed by either parent, stating that his/her child will be traveling alone. If minor is illegitimate, mother should execute the ASC.

3. Original and photocopy of DSWD Clearance

-There is no need to secure a DSWD Clearance if the minor traveling abroad has parents who are in the Foreign Service or living abroad or are immigrants, provided he / she is holding a valid pass such as a dependent’s visa / pass / identification card or permanent resident visa / pass / identification card which serves as proof that he / she is living with parents abroad.

If both parents are abroad:

1. Affidavit of Support and Consent (ASC) executed by either parent indicating the name of the traveling companion (authenticated by the nearest Philippine Embassy or Consulate General). If minor is illegitimate, mother should execute the ASC.

2. Special Power of Attorney (SPA) with an attached photocopy of either parent’s valid passport (authenticated by the nearest Philippine Embassy or Consulate General) authorizing a representative in assisting the child to apply for a passport. If minor is illegitimate, mother should execute the SPA.

3. Original and photocopy of DSWD Clearance

-There is no need to secure a DSWD Clearance if the minor traveling abroad has parents who are in the Foreign Service or living abroad or are immigrants, provided he / she is holding a valid pass such as a dependent’s visa / pass / identification card or permanent resident visa / pass / identification card which serves as proof that he / she is living with parents abroad.

ALLIANCE IN MOTION GLOBAL INC (AIM GLOBAL). - A STABLE, VERY STRONG AND FUTURE-SECURED MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING COMPANY

I joined AIM Global yesterday 6/22/13. For a long time of studying the concept, products and system of networking, I found the suitable and best option to join with. The AIM Global. I was invited by Kyle Madanguit.

When I was in Manila way back 2009. I have so many invitations to join a seminar. It was exciting and fun environment. Of course, exposition of financial freedom is the mainstream (They are holding thousands of pesoses). I was invited to join UNO. I attended the seminar in Ortigas, infront of Podium and near SM Megamall. It was great and the demos were perfectly performed. The crazy one is the magnetic thing, you can't lift the person if you have that magnetic bracelet, isn't it amazing?. After the seminar, a circle of gathering went on and they were convincing us to provide a 7-8K membership package (I forgot the exact figure). On the that time, I was financially unstable that is why I wasn't able to provide the said amount. The up lines were giving advise to sell any of our belongings that can raise the said amount, that was kinda crazie idea. But that would be one of the techniques for you to become a member of the said networking. They almost got me. But I have nothing to sell, therefore, I wasn't able to join. 

But there was a time when I went to MOA, there was a gathering of foreign (Mostly Asian) people, from different country in one of the convention centers, I was curious and drop off the place. A Korean invited me to sit in. It was AMWAY. Instantly, I met Korean friends and some of them were Chinese and we went out for the said purpose. It was a networking concept too. The Koreans paid 2K for me to join the said AMWAY. And I was given the package. I love the product and the system. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to continue the membership since I left Manila and went home to Calbayog. The most common demo I saw was the capsule content pour in to a glass of water, it disappeared and dissolved into the water. It was amazing. Some kinda magic.

In AIM Global, no more magic trick since the product were made by Herbal giant manufacturer in the US (Nature's Way http://www.naturesway.com/), that is why all of the products are reliable and very effective. In fact, I tried the C-24/7 for the first time, you can feel that your body is being optimized. I can sleep well then. And I can breath so clearly. My eyes were suddenly cleared out. It energize your body and actually, this 12AM, I am so active still. My mind set to the product, and I am a user of it. Because I want to prove to myself that before I introduce the product to my networks, I have a testimony to make. And that is the time I can invite new distributors to spread the good news about valuing life through valuing health. All of the products are preventive maintenance. As what the experts said, Prevention is better than cure.

I joined AIM Global without any doubts and of course any regrets because I know, future starts here.
